Many congratulations to Dr Azalea Raad, who has accepted a position as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems in Kaiserslautern, Germany, starting in July.

Azalea will work with Viktor Vafeiadis and Derek Dreyer on weak memory models for transactions, a new exciting area with much left to explore. Azalea's thesis and recent publications are now available on her website.
